1. It Takes a Long Time to Get an Appointment

It may be difficult to get new patients or keep the existing ones if dental appointments for the next three months are booked. If anyone cancels their appointment, you can book an appointment for the next patient on your waitlist.

2. Unpleasant Waiting Room

You cannot please your patients if your waiting room is noisy and features uncomfortable chairs, dull colors, and outdated technologies. Keep your waiting room updated, clean, and welcoming for your patients and visitors. You can place a TV, set up an aquarium, and reading materials to entertain your patients while they wait.

3. Long Wait Time

Usually, patients do not want to wait for a long time in your lobby. You need to make every possible effort to keep their waiting time short and convenient. During the procedure, ask them whether they feel comfortable, or need a break to relax. This can give your patients a way to let you know what they need.

7. You Make Patients Keep Track of Their Appointments

Going to the dentist for regular dental checkups is not on anyone’s “to-do list”. If you let patients track their appointments and come back to you when they are due for a cleaning or checkup, you may not see them for some time or until they have dental problems. Implement a solution that tracks when patients are due for follow-up dental appointments. This will help you not to miss out on patients and inform patients about their next appointment.
